At JunkMail, protecting your privacy is our core mission. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

  • Email Address: Required only if you sign up for a Premium account or a waitlist.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see your full credit card number.
  • Support Inquiries: Content of emails you send to our support team.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Logs: We temporarily log IP addresses and Request URLs for security purposes (DDoS protection, abuse prevention). These logs are purged regularly (typically every 30 days).
  • Cookies: Used for session management and analytics.

C. Email Content (The Service Data)

  • Incoming emails sent to JunkMail addresses are stored on our servers for a limited time (as per the "Time-to-Live" of the inbox).
  • We do not read your emails. The process is automated.
  • Emails are deleted permanently after expiration.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service.
  • To process payments for Premium features.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse (see Acceptable Use Policy).
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., court orders).

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following trusted sub-processors necessary to run the service:

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our Service. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our Service and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt-out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
